The new Queen of Pop received a special Achievement Award at the American Music Awards last night, and today it was announced that Katy Perry will host SNL on December 10th.
[photogallerylink id=40774 align=left]I named [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Katy Perry[/lastfm] the new Queen Of Pop when “Last Friday Night” made it to #1 on the chart, making Katy the first female to have 5 #1 songs off of one album. If her latest, “The One That Got Away” makes it, that will be 6.
Anyway, Katy will host SNL on December 10th, but don’t look for her to perform. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Robyn[/lastfm] has been announced as the musical guest.
Katy is no stranger to acting, she had a guest appearance on “How I Met Your Mother,” and also played Smurfette in the movie, “The Smurfs.”
