Adam Lambert To Tour With Queen

Freddie Mercury.  Irreplaceable, right?  Maybe not.  Adam Lambert will join Queen on tour.

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Adam Lambert[/lastfm] is busy promoting his new album, but he will take to the road and tour with Queen later this summer.  He said, “The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some great songs. It’s to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would’ve been proud of.”

So, are you eager to hear Adam with Queen, or not so much?

Adam will be promoting his new album Trespassing. I think his music will take the priority over the other. Queen is a legendary band and that would help Adam bring some fans in that really didn’t know him prior. Adam would never want to take the place of Freddie. Whatever happens happens no harm either way!!!

So happy to hear that he is performing with Queen. No one alive better to do Freddie justice!! Such great promotion for Adam as well. Win/win!

I wish all these on-line mags and bloggers STOP saying that Adam Lambert is the new singer for Queen or Adam is replacing Freddie. He is NOT joining Queen as the new lead singer. Adam Lambert is a solo artist who might, if he has time in his very busy schedule, stand in with Queen for a performance or two. That’s it. Report the FACTS, not some tabloid made up lies. Geez!

I hope Adam Lambert will perform with Queen at least one more time in 2012. It’s going to be absolutely amazing and epic!
