His first single, “Back To Life”, will be featured in the soon-to-be-released motion picture, Crooked Arrows, that centers on the sport of Lacrosse.

We found out several things while chatting with Benny, who was operating on four hours of sleep after an early wake up in Los Angles to join us in Eastern Daylight Saving Time land. So it was after a big cup of coffee he told us it was a lacrosse scholarship that actually what got him into Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland where his real major became music. Despite the fact that his lacrosse playing days are over – Benny has to protect those guitar playing hands – his passion for the sport has come full circle with his music being a part of the soundtrack for this major motion picture about lacrosse.

The film stars Brandon Routh, best know for his role as Superman in the 2006 movie, “Superman Returns” along side Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth.

When describing his debut full-length album “Cold Weather” due out May 31, this singer-songwriter-musician said, “I didn’t want to give too much away, but I really wanted to give a great and balanced representation of myself and the upcoming full-length album”. Benny went on to say, “I think I did a good job with that.”
