Mr Rogers Getting His Own BioPic

…called “A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood”!

Supposedly a spec script has already been submitted by Ellen DeGeneres Show staff writer, Alexis Jolly.

Justin Nappi of Treehouse Pictures who is supposed to be making the film said this in a statement:

“Fred Rogers was such an inspirational man for so many people. His keen ability to find the good in anyone, or anything, will make for a truly inspiring cinematic experience. In literally shaping the world around him to fit into his own unique perspective, he created what is arguably the most influential American children’s television show of all time.”

Interesting fact, the original Mr Rogers set was in the original B94 broadcast building before the station took it over.

How excited are you? There’s going to be more Pittsburgh in this movie than Dark Knight Rises! Lol.
