Dear Scott:

My husband and I have a couple that we’re friends with, mainly because our kids are friends, and we’ve invited them over 3 different times. They’ve come over every time, but have NEVER invited us to their house. And when I see the wife she’s always, “Hey we should get together some time,” but never puts any plans together. As far as I’m concerned, the ball is in their court and I’m never inviting them over again until we get an invite first. What’s up with people like that? Am I wrong to think invitations should be reciprocal?
