Dear Scott:

My daughter is heading into her senior year in high school. She hasn’t worked at all this summer and now expects me to buy all of her back to school clothes. My husband has no problem with this, but I do. ‘Daddy’s Little Girl’ needs to get a job and learn responsibility before college. He disagrees and thinks she should enjoy her school years before the work grind begins. I am willing to pay for half. Should teens pay for their back to school clothes? Who’s right – my husband or me?

What is your advice? – Scott
