So, it looks like even if you’re friends with Simon Cowell it doesn’t guarantee you a job. There have been rumors that for awhile now that host Steve Jones would not be coming back as host. That story was confirmed yesterday. E! News also says Nicole Scherzinger was NOT asked to come back and now word is Paula Abdul will no longer be a judge on the show!! The story is, Simon wants to take the show in a “different direction.” It was struggling in the ratings so maybe the that’s the reason behind the shake up. But geez…Aren’t Simon and Paula BFFs? Guess it’s “just business” Not sure WHY you’d fire Nicole…but hey, whatever.

Tomorrow night on American Idol they will still be auditioning in Portland! But, on the show Madonna‘s new video for her song “Give Me All Your Luvin” will debut. Her new CD will be called MDNA.

Madonna will be performing at the Superbowl Sunday. There are rumors circulating that female rapper/singer M.I.A. will be joining her and rapper/singer Nicki Minaj. We shall see.

It’s official. Matthew Broderick is reprising his role as Ferris Bueller… kind of. The full commercial has hit the internet ahead of the “big game that happens on a Sunday in February.” It’s “Matthew’s Day Off.”

The rumblings all over the internet were correct, the spot is for Honda. This time, instead of faking being sick to get out of going to school on a beautiful day, Matthew calls off going to work on the set of a movie. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is cut down to about 2 minutes and 25 seconds.

A 10-second preview clip hit the web last week, but the full commercial has now hit the web.
