If you’re a father who has ever walked into a public bathroom to change your child’s diaper and couldn’t’ find a changing station, you’re not alone.

Singer John Legend is teaming up with Pampers to make sure more men’s rooms have baby diaper changing stations in them.

New research from the diaper makers revealed that 9 out of dads have gone into a bathroom without a changing station.

Pampers plans to place 5,000 changing tables into public restroom across North America by 2021.

The need to changing stations in men’s rooms was highlighted by a viral post last year that showed father Dante Palmer squatting down so he could change his child’s diaper.

This is a serious post!!! What’s the deal with not having changing tables in men’s bathroom as if we don’t exist!! #FLM #fatherslivesmatter clearly we do this often because look how comfortable my son is. It’s routine to him!!!! Let’s fix this problem! I Kaepernick drop a knee to this issue! @theshaderoom let’s show the innovation of fathers! #squatforchange

Palmer has since founded the #SquatForChange movement to get more changing stations into men’s rooms

Legend will use his notoriety to introduce the movement to hands-on fathers.

“I am so excited to play a role in Pampers’ Love the Change campaign. I love being a hands-on dad, and it is so important that we acknowledge the active role dads are playing in their babies’ lives,” said John Legend. “Spending time out and about with my kids is one of the greatest joys in my life, but it’s frustrating when I am out with Miles and the men’s restroom doesn’t have a baby changing table. I’m proud to support Pampers as it paves the way for more inclusive parenting by providing all of us dads out there with the tools we need to succeed.”

The changing stations will be installed by Koala Kare Products.
