Bazzy & Bubba's Backpack Brigade 2018

Once again this year 100.7 Star, Bubba Show, Richard Bazzy from Shults Ford and The Education Partnership teamed up for Bazzy & Bubba's Backpack Brigade to collect backpacks for Pittsburgh area kids in need for this school year.

The goal for this year was to collect 1,250 backpacks. Thanks to the generous support for listeners and businesses throughout the area, like Standard Bank, Josh Whiteside, Executive Director of The Education Partnership, said the total number collected this year was 2,827 - more than double our goal!

He also said that when you add in the supplies that some people stuffed inside some of the backpacks, the total value of the donations comes to $91,582!

The Edcucation Partnership will distribute the backpacks and supplies to kids and families who otherwise may not be able to afford to purchase them for the school year. To learn more about The Ediucation Partnership, click here.
