Hundreds of YouTubers who call themselves ASMRists create videos that have generated hundreds of millions of views  with two of the most popular being Maria of “Gentle Whispering” and “Gibi”. Both have over a million subscribers and Gibi even has her own merchandise!

While ASMR has quietly become an internet sensations, millions of people who have never heard of it before could experience those “tingles” this Sunday.
